Pharmacy Assistance Program
A pharmacy assistance program is available for patients without prescription insurance coverage who meet pharmaceutical companies’ eligibility requirements. Eligibility is primarily based on residency, income, and lack of prescription coverage. The program is offered with funding from the Commonwealth of Virginia and other sources and utilizes software developed and supported by the Virginia Health Care Foundation.
Medications may also be available at a discounted rate for patients on the center’s sliding fee program through an arrangement with Clinch River Pharmacy.
